Too many variables to calculate.

well it isn't that there are too many variables to calculate really. the only variables are # of retals and avg land gained per retal.

it's really the number of score sheets and the number of countries that you'd have to look through for every single set that would be cumbersome, right? (well this is a rhetorical, so don't answer :p)
