Exceptional finishes by tmac and rob.

It's weird I had a horrible start of the set but then somewhere around midgame I realized that if I took some risks I would be a contender. One of those risks turned out to be one too many and I got missile showered (I totally deserved it, this time) and stopped trying. There must have been more land than usual somehow because it usually dries up sooner.

He was too good a grab and I was gonna stay in humies range for a very limited time, he might not have logged in or he might not know how to missile people, after all I was the first person he missiled last set. I was high on turns and planned to do another huge retal just after that which would give me like 6-7k acres, and be out of range. Being 10k acres behind and a plausible, albeit risky, path to catch up it seemed worth to take that. I would have likely been 3rd if I didn't take those risks, and that is the rank I got now anyway.
