anyone else getting played out with the monotony of primary? hit everyone once, outrun the retal, stock and hope you have enough turrets to defend?

Nah, you gotta farm the ones that are begging to be farmed and hit a couple fatties and see if you can get away with it haha, I don't really up my turrets until I'm destocking.

Primary is way more fun with 1,000+ players. That’s exactly why I was advocating for the advertising to bring some in. Earth is an amazing game. It’s unique and it’s like a time capsule of the 80’s and 90’s games. I think if people knew how fun it is they would try and and a good chunk would play.


Market swings are fun though and playing the market can be quite a gamble in sets like this. I like that aspect. Team server is fun because if they crazy market. It’s like playing the slot machines when you hit. I noticed this set in primary seems to be like that with so few players. I enjoy the wild market without bots so I don’t think that’s the answer either. Plenty of bot servers.

Isn’t that every game or sport or even life? With the exception of playing through a story line, it’s all monotonous, grinding the same dungeon over and over in a rpg, playing the same character in the same map most of the time in a fps, doing basically the exactY same thing with the same map and units in an rts. Sports is the same too, you’d think a couple of people trying to get a ball in a net, the goals or whatever would bore people, but it doesn’t, and that’s not even athletics! Running, jumping, swimming… there is absolutely no variety in that, same with NASCAR. Even movies are like this, I swear most movies are so formulaic that I feel like I’m just watching the same movie over and over again maybe in a different setting. Listen to the same few albums of your favourite bands over and over again, play monopoly/uno/cards a million times with the same people, it goes on. Yet somehow people still enjoy all this stuff, even when they’re not participating!

* Trade pacts grant 1 extra daily bonus turn for every 1000 turns played by a trade ally. For example, if one trade ally has played 1999 turns and one trade ally has played 2134 turns then a country allying them both will receive 1+2=3 extra daily bonus turns.

The Global Defense Initiative (GDI) is an open organization dedicated to the protection of our members. As a member of GDI, you will receive the protection of GDI forces. Unless you have attacked a country twice or more, that country will only be able to commit the following attacks or harmful spy ops against you: standard strikes, planned strikes, bomb banks, burn oil, and burn bushels.

However, we require your assistance after leaving protection. You will be required to pay $5 per non-cs building you own to the GDI fund as long as you are with us. In addition, you will not be allowed to commit offensive acts which are not standard strikes, planned strikes, or beneficial spy ops against other countries unless they have attacked you more than once.

You can only leave GDI before the final six hours of the game if you haven't attacked or been attacked. If you leave GDI then you cannot rejoin. In the final six hours of the game, you will not be able to engage in any offensive actions against countries that have not hit you at least once. However, countries not in GDI may still be able to attack you.





You can attack countries no bigger or smaller than 4x your size, no special attacks will be allowed unless a country breaks GDI on you with 2 or more hits.

Can you also shoot one single nuke as a retal and not break GDI? I think I’ve seen tmac do that once if I’m not mistaken. I couldn’t find anything on that.

The rule still applies and doesn’t specify SS and PS, so yes you can retal with one nuke and not break GDI.

Read it again, you break GDI by doing 2 or more hits, not 3 or more. So you break GDI on the second one.

Why do people double-tap then cry about the retals?

Because they’re n00bs.
