Just a friendly PSA for everyone playing primary this set,

I've spied on a lot of countries, and the one thing I keep seeing over and over again is countries with really low tech levels

So I just want to remind everyone that tech is important!

- If you are an industrialist, you still need business, residence, and mil costs tech to go along with indy tech..

- If you are a farmer, you still need business and residence and mil costs tech to go along with agri tech..

- If you are a casher you need a lot of bus/res tech, good mil costs tech levels, and likely high weapons tech as well

When playing a 2 month reset of Primary the importance of having high tech levels cannot be understated!!

A country with 150% bus/res and -90% mil costs will out grow a similar country playing the same strategy without the tech. I don't care if you have more land, and a better production set... or even if you sell your goods for higher price points on the markets.. you will still lose quite easily to a country that has better tech levels

So next time you log in.. get on over to the public market.. select "Buy Tech" and get after it!

Same here, anything in the 1700 to 1800 range at this stage is a gift.

I've been purchasing as much as I could for days. Some days not even purchasing military just to get in on the tech.

Tech prices will be moving up here I guarantee it. I bet within 4 to 5 days of this message tech will all be close to 2k range or even little higher.

If you're a techer, build construction sites til you have 60+ buildings per turn, then have for example 500 industrial producing 100% spies, and rest (10k for example) should be labs, tech, sell, repeat, expand as you get comfortable with the strategy.

First and most important thing for new players is to learn to specialize on one strategy to maximize production and then buy whatever else you need from the market

If you are a Theocracy, or say a Democracy you could play a Techer and set up your building something like this ...

Well folks another techer dropped his land #98. Looking at his history it appears he is a techer.

So it seems to me perhaps we will be staying around 2k or higher. Lots of techers have moved on.

Dorsai, Hauling Beams, kungpao topfeeder and jungle runner Koh are the big ones I know as techers. Few of those demos not sure about but could be. Anyhow point is lots have moved on.
