When selling tech, I imagine people will change the price from the default value. For you techers, do you raise the price some, drop it? Or keep it as default?

I imagine that raising it, even if slightly, would be beneficial during this part of the set because people are still buying tech.

The tech market is a fickle mistress. Sometimes you can get away with raising the prices, but I frequently lower them from $15-$50 depending on the tech, how much I am putting up, how badly I need it to sell. It is better to sell it for less than not at all.

Sometimes I got 30 below, sometimes I got 100 below, sometimes I go 100 above, sometimes I go 200 above. It depends on where I see price action going. I've got some bus/rez tech thats gonna be stuck on the market 2 days which will hurt the push the push I'm trying to make.

Tip for p1co.

1) Use http://www.eestats.com/primary. Go to the Primary menu, and check the Market link. Shows average price of last 6/12/24/48/72 hours.
2) Use in game market History search (it's below "Orders", and to the right of "Sell Tech") for more granular search on average prices on a per hour basis over the last 72 hours.

The displayed "default" price is just whatever price the good happens to be selling at, at the time you visit the Sell page.

it partially depends what techs you are selling, busi, resi, agri sell well so selling at current price can mean that your techs will sell (assuming price isn't 5k or higher) while on other techs you need to lower price so that those techs might sell (sometimes even 50 bucks drop ain't enuf cause some1 else has dropped more).

so if price is 3001 you round it to 3000 and if 3009 then to 3010?

I just click 'Sell All Tech'and click 'Place Goods on Market'

I'm lazy.. and often you see a tech that is empty currently on the market. I would be selling at the SOs price(like 1000)

That must be how I got so much $501 tech last reset =D

if market is bought out on some tech then i sell it at 4-5k (of course not all that tech will sell but some will).
