The last time I played was 1999 I am a returning player to primary. Upon returning I find there are quite some changes in terms of players skill level.

1stly there are less people. Secondly there seems to be not so many pros as last time(I don't meant to be arrogant here I consider myself an amateur)

How many of you that came from the 1999 era feel the same.

ps: I am starting as a Demo Casher see how that go. I was tempted to do Commie indy but resisted.

There are good players still, just less. Just as there are less poor players. Certain strats are limited due to the small numbers of players, amount of countries/land, and size of markets/ demand of goods. It's not bd, just different.

I was a regular 1B player in 99 too btw.

If I am not mistaken we had like 20k people on primary that was wicked! Now is merely a few hundred. But from what you say I guess it can work too just certain things don't work anymore(yet to find out)
