With each set it seems players just get better and better and shatter previous records. Congrats to OMA on taking the Demo, Demo techer, techer records. At the rate these techers are going the top 5 techer list is completely rearranged.

I have corrected the 5th place in each of the "top 5 techers" and "top 5 farmers" with countries that did not make top 10. Only needed to check Round 17 and 18 since those were the only rounds with a t10 higher than 100m.

I've also added a Top 5 Land, Top 5 No-GDI, and a Top 5 All-Explore.

Wow, my all-explore TMBR from round 8 is only 2.5m networth away from the t5 all time for explorers.

Xin, the farmer and techers records are jumbled.

I fixed it so you now hold the top 3 techer spots. Until tomorrow lol. :P

C'mon, give me a spot as the top one in the top 5 MBR list. I know there's some guy who has run a crappy country called all-explore TMBR a few times and finished with like half of what I got, so he can round out the top 5 :P

There should be a top oiler or oiler/farmer hybrid section. I'm curious to know the potential of those strats.

A single 5k oiler at this stage of the game can supply 540k oil (before govt bonus) per day. This can supply 13.5m units, or roughly 15 of the top countries above 10k land right now.

Or to reword this a 10k oiler could supply about 25-30 countries that are also 10k in size.

Basically, no potential. A good oiler/farmer hybrid will always convert his oil rigs to farms before week 5, and before the building costs become prohibitive, and definitely before the oil crash.

Bam. Challenge completed, except you won't acknowledge I was a hybrid even though more than half of my income the first 6 weeks were from oil.. ACKNOWLEDGE MY HYBRID Xin!

I actually have 13 t10's now, not 12. But nothing above 4th. :-(

Depends on when oil starts crashing and how high food goes I think. If the oil price stays more efficient than the food price, it may not be good to convert, even though you know you'll be selling barrels for $60 for the last week-two weeks, at that point it's too late to be cost effective to rebuild buildings ... to get the building cost money back you're talking knocking them down earlier, but then you're replacing the rigs while they're still efficient ... but that's not any better, logically, even if then the farms do pay off the cost of building them, all that you've actually done is shifted the same expense to an earlier point in time ... lost all that oil income they would have been giving, gaining income in the last-last couple weeks which still wouldn't be worth the cost of changing the buildings, just like it wasn't worth it before. Err.

Tis true, that's why I never converted. Oil was more efficient than food until the last 2 weeks. If I hadn't been missiled and bomb structred so many times I would have ended w/ 10k rigs. I sitll ended up w/ like 6700 rigs. HYBRID!
