Because with a small country around 50 in rank I produce 10 percent of total food
Food consumption must be increased

i dunno I think farmer stocks pretty well...we've seen a couple farmers do well the past few sets. You just can't expect to keep up land wise to cashers/indys early on b/c you produce at a worse $$/land rate early and midset. Stocking later in the set makes up for that.

Two farmers from last set:

6 FML Vortex Arcane Horde Invuln (#215) 51,645 $108,357,665 FG
7 within a budding grove (#28) 55,649 $106,071,234 DG

That was with bushel price averaging a paltry $38 for the round. Of course, that goes back to your point, as food prices were probably poor as a direct result of ingle and I, plus Campione and lil azn that could, being big farmers.

also primary market is so small that it is true for any strat that a good country is a decent % of the market.
