Auto-buys from a better Private Market

Is there a way of turning it off?

Some of these goods were purchased for a better price on your private market.

I thought there was an option to somewhere.

In preferences you can turn it off

<Drinks> going to bed
<Drinks> pm me if I get hit

Login to country > Main Menu > Preferences

Then you will see this:

'Public Market Purchases
Buy cheapest goods
Always purchase from the public market regardless of price'

<Drinks> going to bed
<Drinks> pm me if I get hit

I also think corruption shouldn't be calculated into the expenses in the advisor,
