Why is it for defense only? Maybe if it applied to offense also, it wouldn't be so worthless.

Because in E2025 it was only for defense is why.

That could make sense considering how difficult some medical equipment is to move, particularly to a foreign battlefield.

Likewise offense has most of the advantages and it is already pretty easy to wear down someone's defenses (particularly considering max med tech is only 2/3).

That being said I think it should be on offense too, but that is a topic for Bugs & Suggestions.

dunno why it is hoarded on ffa and alliance 2-3 times per week and how it is hoarded is when price goes to 5-7k per point when day earlier it was around 1.5k per point.

I think prices fluctuate on med tech, because most techers don't try to sell it. So if there is suddenly demand, there's no supply and prices spike. I tend to tech a lot, and i never research med, because the demand for it is non existent on the individual servers. If it reduced attack losses though, it would definitely be more valuable. With full off allies all attacking 4-5 times a day, med tech would be super helpful. It's easy to lose 30-40% of a standing army to allies, would be nice to reduce that.

dunno if med tech helped decreasing losses when off-ally (ab)used army at earth2025.
