I'm thinking of getting one, anyone play EE on it? Is it too much of a bother?

Also, thinking of getting my son a tablet as well. Anyone know of a good tablet for kids? I've kinda narrowed my selection to the Nook, the Nabi, or Kindle Fire.

I can't answer the first one - but I play Earth when I have to on my Galaxy Nexus and it works well enough. I would not want to do it that way all the time - but there are lots of things I can do on my phone that I wouldn't want to. I don't own any tablets to compare.

Ok, fine I have a Kindle Fire although I only use that for e-reading and movies. What makes something good for kids in your eyes? Kindle Fire is easy to use. Dunno what sorts of parental controls exist for it... I think it may be setup so you have to have CC info saved to buy stuff easily. I would be leery of that with a kid but again I have never looked into disabling it really... also it may not be that way sooo... yeah...

nabi 2 and kindle fire have newer version of android os and nabi 2 has better processor than kindle.

so based on specs nabi 2>kindle fire>nook.

why? it shouldn't differ from keyb+mice that much except on few things.

yes, the lack of a mouse, and a number pad, along with finger scrolling would be terrible. Is also sucky because the textbox do not tell the OS's keyboard to be a number pad.

you might get used to it soon and find other ways to do what you need to do.

this is quite old, but i do alot of playing on earth mobile. Works for me just fine, it also helps having 4g. Im only on the galaxy s3 though, so my screen is kinda nice for mobile versions of this site.
