Is there somewhere here that tells you about the different government types and what strats are good to play with them?

Hmm I don't know which would be the best source for this but I can tell you that depending on what server these are about the most used combinations

Casher: Republic, Theocracy, rare Dict and demo
Techer: Theocracy, Democracy, Tyranny
Farmer: Fascism, democracy, Dict, tyranny
Indy: Commie
Oiler: Fascism

And then a very popular strategy in some servers is Fascism farmer/oiler, abreviated FFO where you play with Rigs and Farms in a mix (not a Farmer with a few rigs or an Oiler with a few farms)
