I'm guessing there is some rule here where tech sold too cheap is automatically cleared by creating a sale to nobody?

This is what came up in the market news, it is different from a normal sale

419,477 Medical were sold for $42,367,177.

Typically you will see a message like this

You sold 205,968 Agricultural for $406,168,896.
No more Agricultural remain for sale.

So my question is, what is the rule, what is the minimum price you can sell tech for without this "auto clear". Would be nice if this information was available in the game.

there's that rule for all goods.

i've seen techs at 5-600 so lowest might not be much lower.

Yes, the public market auto-purchases goods that are priced too cheaply. All of those prices for normal goods should be listed in the wiki.

For tech, the minimum is $1000 for express and $500 for all other servers.

we never were able to crash market, even mehul's game had autobuy if price had been set too low.

ahhh they were? Well, I guess the prices don't affect my sales then.

we can crash market via buyouts but we can't crash it via selling things too low.
