Alliance server needs people to play... whether its untagged or in their old alliances. Instead of telling old vets who come back to go elsewhere, they should be encouraged to stay.

I had warfare tech and sdi tech, that was probably threatening to them. I also did numerous standard spy ops on one of their guys on or about april 23rd. The final straw (for them) was when I bought up to about 2.5m jets and then PS'ed them all away to do one retal on a LaF guy.

I have not suicided on you, and have stated many times over that I don't plan on suiciding. I am an old vet who started in 98 and played in many clans over the years, including SoF, who is checking out the game. Just for you SoF, this time i'll even tag up as [119]. I'm not some alleged mass suicider, get it out of your heads. #119 did not suicide, although you all call it that. It was a misunderstanding and it was done, with very very little damage to you. #697 was stockpiled well and could have done damage, but I didn't and I could have.

If you guys are just going to kill every single untagged that has a decent country, you're pathetic.

You can see all spy ops that bounced, and since I had a crappy spal you wouldn't see those successful spyops that did not bounce.

On top of that, SoF feels as if their policies includes retaliation for non-harmful spyops.

Ivan: There is no such thing as a spy op retal. That is something you just pulled up out of thin air to justify the killing of another country. When a country does harmful spyops, yes that's justified reason for killing (like your sof member did on me).

You're an idiot flamey. Those 2m jets were purchased for the sole reason of a retal. Those multiple spyops were in response to multiple destructive spyops done towards me.

Also, those spyops took place on 4-21. Also note that, I grabbed #435 instead and just left it be.


As I stated before in the other thread, if I wanted to suicide SoF I would have done so and not waited for you to kill me. I surely wouldn't have bought up 2m jets and them put them all away on a PS.

Also, I didn't have highlights. It was pure coincidence that I got on. I ran perhaps 10 turns because i logged on with about 50 population left.

Here's my first impression. I Unity desktop interface is a bit too hammered down. It's not possible to add widgets to panels anymore. I don't see that happening for long, if Unity is to be the only option in 11.10 (right now I can revert to Gnome) it needs to improve the ability to easily customize the desktop.

Installation failed in the upgrade from 10.10. Had to reformat partition table (gparted live cd) and download the 11.04 ISO. Tried burning ISO on a 700mb CD, and it failed... ended up burning the ISO on a DVD and installation worked well. It easily recognized the freespace and used that, and left the other partitions as is. After installation of OS and rebooting, the proprietary driver (nvidia) was not working properly... reboot in recovery mode, disabled the driver and used the experimental nvidia driver and was able to load Unity.

Still need to play around with it some more, but I think I'll wait to upgrade my other computers for a couple months.

Think of it as flipping a coin. Its a 50-50 chance that you get heads. When flipping said coin, it could land on heads 5 times in a row... but over the course of 100 flips, you'll see that heads lands nearly half the time. Now, if you do 100 flips of the coin 100 times, there will be some outliers where heads is flipped 60 times and some 40, but those are just outliers.

If you hae been hit by a decent amount of missles, calc the percentage that have been successful.

Exactly! It was one grab when everyone was just starting out...it just so happened that SoF had the most amount of 0 defense countries. You should not be able to claim that your retal policy dictates what should happen to the country who grabbed your clan (even if it was multiple times) if the country in your clan makes zero effort (at the time) to get defense.
