Think of it this way, they asked us for an anti-SOF DP, and we turned them down, even given all the SOF rivalry. What's that say about our opinion of current RD? :P

The war is soon to be released upon the server and yet, there is not enough fluff-talking.

So, in order to change this, I will now state some general statements with no substantiation that may or may not be true.

1. Ivan is a terrible "leader" if you could call him that, it's no wonder SOF has gotten it's act together since Helmet came back - we know who's running the show.

2. SMz debilitates any alliance he plays for.. see any of the past alliances has played for (here's a hint - they're not around anymore).

3. SOF cries that we have a numbers advantage even though they wanted that.. truth is no one had to try to recruit, the amount of people who want to stuff it down Ivan's throat threw themselves at our side. He's been that poor of a leader for that long.

4. As long as there's anyone that's been around since before EE, they remember that SOF are vaginas that run away when the going gets tough. Want more proof they're still vaginas - RD is here and they haven't warred them once. Grudges are one thing, but when a group of people ruins so much by cheating, it's still on - grow a pair.

5. I regret never havng the pleasure of doing FA with Helment (okay, so that's not trash talk, but I had to put something that wasn't truthful in this post due to my opening statements - oh wait).

6. Everytime Evo/Sanct combined in a war placing SOF on the opposite side, SOF has smoldered (how the hell do you all have such short memories to not remember the netters already proved over and over we could kick the warreers asses?).

7. As a tribute to Ivan's shoddy leadership, I will name my restart Natural Selection .. if I die.

8. The Union lives on in Evo+SancT (..and Monsters this set - oh and shout out to Foobooy).

9. I ran out of crafty things to say a few numbers ago.

10. Troll me back pansies, or just curl up and die as usual.

I think he's more alluding to the fact that in comparison to NM and Evo, we tend to war on a more regular basis. We usually see around a 90% restart rate, still not the 95%+ of the strictly warring tags.

Also, we'll likely be trimming our fat in order to make the numbers more representational before the war :)

Both myself and (I believe) Praetor have commented to the Wall Street Journal in the last day or so that as far as we know, his removal from SOL and joining of SancT was not due to inappropriate posts in SOL, but due to an ingame conflict of interest (SOL warring LCN).

Their scapegoating of the political climate I wouldn't say is proper either.

The truth is Jared was disturbed; the interests he took up was in conspiracies. He hated all government according to his posts, even back to the constitution. As he became more disconnected from reality, his delusions likely grew and led him to this.

He's responsible for what he did, no one else. And if he committed his act while mentally competent, he deserves whatever the law and our federal prison systems throw at him. If he did so while mentally "insane," then I hope they never rehabilitate him, as I don't think any sane person would want to continue living life after committing a horrendous act such as his.

I only read half the thread, but I'm definitely not for the "extra hosting site services" or the phonebot.

This is mainly because there are certain types of players who will pay for patron, those are the ones who are already incredibly active. It also hinders an alliances element of surprise and could even make people like suiciders harder to kill. While I wouldn't discourage things like market news being fed into the hosting site, I can't see a whole ton of benefit to it. Whereas defending results / phone bot could make stonewalling a lot stronger. Also, with a phone bot, you'll likely create more grief than happiness -- what if the phone bots texts are delayed, what if they dont reach the carrier? Then you have people demanding money back for a service they're not happy with (not to mention depending on how you set it up, it may not be cost efficient).

Most people pay for active just because they care about the game, that's why I did it. My adblockers already block the ads, tutorials don't bug me, and I'm happy with a simple "Patron" to show that I've given back to the game that given so much to me.

I'd say stick to the "Patron" label, a "Patron" board, and I'm undecided on the ads thing, as they don't bug me :P
