The Sally Twenties fluffs series will be even stronger. Have the returns formulas changed again to limit civ %'s killed on smaller countries? Or did Pokey wall half successfully ? If I remember correctly IMP could never really KR competently anyways so my assumption is the latter
I hope you bowed when uttering the name of Peyton!
Always. And fluff Tom Brady.
I don't see the Bills throwing the ball 15+ yards downfield more than 5 or 6 times this season, so Shady PPR is go. If Fred Jackson is healthy tho he'll still get third down reps.
And to the topic, Luck will be my #1 QB this year hands down. Rodgers/Peyton could both contend for points tho
Not sure if you've been around this server in a while Dragon but untaggeds get farmed. Lots. If there's an FA issue you can go ahead and PM somebody, no point to this post other than your gloating
These bots aren't learning to farm / suicide at random by chance are they? Either bots are hitting us or some dumb real people. I remember when they were introduced last set there were some theories about them becoming self aware
Check yo math Twain .. it should have been much better but he screwed up with the destock. It's a shame Andrew is hit or miss with playing because he was ridiculous. Panlv had a really good group of netters at one point
Best case: Brady gets hurt first play of the game, Garoppolo comes in and him and the Patriots D destroy Seattle. That way Seattle doesn't get back to backs and I don't have to listen to their ridiculous fans, and Brady's quarterbacking talent gets put into proper perspective in Belichick's system
Belichick isn't stupid. He knows that there's a target on their head after Spygate and that their actions are scrutinized more thoroughly and assumptions are made more quickly. Why would he sanction something that is so easy to catch and measure, that his QB doesn't need, and that ultimately actually resulted in poorer passing numbers? It just doesn't feel like something that they would do.
a million times this.. everything the patriots do is analyzed as risk/reward.. Randy Moss, Ocho Cinco, they draft and trade for VALUE.. small risk, potential for great reward.
This is the complete opposite.. with the target on your back from spygate, you don't get the benefit of the doubt for anything, so why take such a big risk, for close to ZERO potential for reward?
Definitely a huge bummer if they find evidence of pats leadership involvement.
I honestly don't think this stems from Belichick. I think he bends any rules he can that he think will give him better odds, but listening to former players, all football selection / preference / control is between the QB and the equipment guys. Brady's a tool, and should be penalized at least twice a game for getting in refs faces. I think he's full of fluff saying he's never heard of something like this. He's quoted as saying he prefers underinflated footballs, so the 1st half vs 2nd half stats are out the window as far as motive. I don't care about a particular game, I care about how many times this has been done in the past. Like the 35-31 win over Baltimore at home? fluff the Patriots.
I worry that this may motivate them though. Like going 18-0 following spygate. The last thing I want furthered is the Brady GOAT arguments that idiotic Patriots homers throw around if Belichick's system wins another ring
When PAN joined that war ICD was clearly on the upswing and about to pull away, don't say it was even at that point. I had forgotten until some recent TTT's how whiny ICD (Donny) was at the time
The military isn't an issue as much as the 0 SDI. Over a month to stock CMs and you're impressed with yourself? Some of us had skeleton military to discourage suiciders. Some of us had 0 military. I understand the revenge excuse, but don't act like it was impressive
Honestly? Revert Dictatorship to the changes it had prior to June 1, 2013. :P
True, around that date was the patch that started up'ing building costs. Before that 100k was norm for land traders, after that 70k. Now 50k. We adapt, but it was fun to have 100k countries
Go Bills? Should have been 30-10 but for some reason the league bailed Johnny out on his two fumble play.
The best two netters I've played with on this server are AJ and AndrewMose, and rebel was the best I've ever warred with/against. I don't have any experience outside of Pan tho
Your synopsis is exactly what I took out of that trailer Rasp. Legendary has me excited for another movie, so if they screw this one up like Godzilla they're dead to me
Yea Trife is just trolling Riddler .. they're looking at moving next weeks game too :( I'll be in b-lo for the holidays and have tickets, but it doesn't look good. And as Budda was kind enough to point out, lake effect is the worst to the east of warm water bodies, which is why buffalo gets double the snow of Boston and Green Bay. Sadly we hit our yearly average in 3 days
Solid content Trife. Buffalo manages to sell out almost every home game having not made the playoffs this century, so somebody apparently disagrees with you. We have good fans. And any division game is important
Just curious how you're doing with the weather .. I'm from Buffalo but haven't lived there in a few years. Also they're talking about postponing the Bills Jets game until Tuesday, so I would appreciate anyone there getting your snow shoes on and going to help them shovel the Ralph. $10/hr and free tickets
Goodell is a joke. Pure PR, no consistency. Domestic violence was essentially ignored in the NFL up until the video this season. Now he's going to act like he cares about victims?
Each year I have to forecast the NFL season results so that everyone can see how good the Bills are gonna be. It hasn't worked out yet but always finishing last in the division gives them a soft schedule:
He's a great field general who you wouldn't want commanding the invasion of Normandy. In that case, you'd want Brady. Because you want to win the battle, not just rack up opposing casualties and then get beat by the Seahawks.
Unless Eli and the Giants happen to be occupying France at the time. Peyton doesn't lose to his younger brother. And the Patriots got beat by that Seahawks team before it was cool.. to think they would have had a chance last year is laughable
I'm not really even arguing FOR Brady, just poking holes in the generic "Peyton is better because I'm told his stats are better." arguments. People love to talk about Peyton's stats but seem to forget to look at it in the post season (when you can't just beat up on the 2-3 perennially crap teams in your division anymore -- something both QBs have enjoyed). When it comes down to winning against good teams when it counts, under pressure, I'd still rather have Brady as my quarterback.
Also, re: spygate again -> even Chuck Mangini (the whistle blower) has said that the obvious success of the pats since then (#1 record in football + 2 SB appearances) showed that it wasn't why they were winning. It's a tired narrative at this point... but they still should have just used a guy with binoculars in a box like everyone else.
Brady started his career 10-0 in the playoffs with 3 rings on very good football teams. Since he is 8-8 with 0 rings. Is he a better player in the last 10 years than his first 3 seasons? Sure. It's a team sport though.
Peyton started his career 3-6 in the playoffs with 0 rings, and since is 8-6 with 1 ring. Since both became focal points of a high powered offense, Peyton's teams have outperformed Brady's in the playoffs.
well if this is peyton vs brady comparison, i think bringing up chokes is going to be a tough battle to win for the peyton people!
In 2012 the Patriots got shut out in the 2nd half in Foxboro by the Ravens. In 2013 the Patriots got demolished by the Broncos in Denver. I don't see recent grounds for Brady supporters to be citing postseason dominance. The Patriots won on Sunday, but they won't win in January when the game's in Denver
I don't know why people think I'm so biased despite being a patriots fan -- I'm not out there lobbying aggressively for Brady.
Peyton will absolutely be the best statistical quarterback in history, no question about that. Maybe even considered the best "master of the game" and I'm certain he will be a great coach one day while Brady will probably fade away comparatively. But will Peyton be the best quarterback of his generation? That's really the question you need to think about when asking that question. It's pretty much at the point that the "generation" (let's say since 2000ish) is set and it's gotta be between:
- Brady
- Manning
- Brees
- Rothelsberger
- Rodgers (or is he the later generation?)
When you think about those quarterbacks careers, who is the best quarterback of that generation?
If they all retired today, I would say Manning. Brady has the rings but I don't put as much weight on championships in team sports as some people. Brady won 3 rings 10 years ago with a great team. He, as a player, has improved significantly since. Was '01-'05 Brady better than '07-'14 Brady? Nah.
Also, if the coaching staffs on these two teams were switched the Broncos wouldn't lose another game until Peyton decided to retired in 2023 or so. John Fox is terrible.
