A good litmus test is if locket stands a reasonable chance to t10, then the game mechanics are probably broken. Before all the landtrading began he was merely a t100 player.

Um, I'd like to say that the current nerf is not enough to make it balanced. When done effectively, landtrading still outperforms post-war farming, still outperforms bottomfeeding, still outperforms all exploring. Case in point, Sodawater was slated to win last reset before he was killed by SoF. I'm not against landtrading per se, but I don't believe it's been nerfed enough.

From my perspective, the proper order in terms of ease to excel and finish at the top is:

1. warfarming
2. bottomfeeding
3. landtrading
4. all-explore

Those who put in the most effort should have the best chance at winning the game.

Sodawater was slated to win before sof killed him. How'd he get there? successful landtrading. If sodawater could put himself in that position to win, SURELY evo with it's second to none netting that you keep bragging about could do it too. Point is, you guys had the tools and capacity to do extremely well given that NO ONE was around to seriously compete with or hinder your netting set, yet somehow you still resorted to cheap tactics like farming detaggers to put up mediocre finishes.

Yeah I'm calling your netting skills out not just to poke fun at you, but to challenge you guys to try harder and compete with us. After all, this game is no fun if laf is competing with itself.

um, regarding last reset:

1. Evo got to farm detags.
2. Evo got to landtrade unabated.
3. qz got to put in game mechanics changes which favored all explore (evo's bread and butter). I'd also venture to guess that evo players had first access or knew about changes faster than anyone else.

Results? crappy finishes even at the t10 level.

I mean just let the numbers speak for themselves. not to mention you guys have guys like lenshark who misses the food peak like every set.

when I think of evo, I do see them as the closest netting competition, but really, since I've started the only time evo wins anw is when they net and we war. half our alliance just says f it to serious netting.

I say to evo, how about picking up the slack a bit and seriously put some more effort into being better players

I tried all set to get in touch with tisya and eug with piggy. All signs pointed to war again.

Anyway, should be a good war. Good luck to both sides. Outside of politics I think this will be a good test of TIE's warring ability when given the numbers to match against LaF. Red you once claimed TIE to be lb for lb as good as LaF in war. This may not be the same but probably the closest you get to a fair test so let's see your war skill in action :)

you think there would be synergies but this is a case where 1 + 1 = 0, which also happens to be the number of original tivo countries that will be left by the end of this upcoming reset.
