You want to try a thought experiment that eliminates the election results of a state with a pop of 39 million people?

Try this one:
Three small counties in Florida - Bay, Clay, and Collier, have a combined population of about 715k people.
Eliminate them from the Florida results and Clinton wins Florida _and_ the Electoral College _and_ still wins the national popular vote by nearly a million.
