I bought an i3 with a little better specs for 450.00 about 2 years ago. I would pay 200-300 for the same computer today. I would say that is a good deal. You can always pitch 20-40 bucks and put in extra ram.

Did anyone see it? From what I gather, the sonic boom did most of the damage. Heck, that thing was traveling like 20 miles a second.

I recall 2 months ago NYC had martial law due to Sandy. There were houses being raided by looters and people were forced to use anything they had to defend themselves.

One guy even used a bow and arrow.

Are you still bringing up your country from last set? I had the same thing happen to me (and lost $4 billion) and the only time I've brought it up is to address your excuse for risky behavior. Having that much stock on hand is taking a huge chance. Unfortunately, you and I both learned the hard way.

You had 4.9m networth and lost how much stock?

I was close to 20m nw with 15m+ defense. Should I call the other alliance out for stock hunting me???

Tella, I'm surprised you have devoted this much time to replying to Rockman as it's not even worth it. It seems all he wants is an excuse as to why he isn't finishing as well as he could have.

Also, why was the evo country with 15m turrets and 30b cash on hand even brought up? What sort of comparison is RM trying to conclude here? Luck? I was that country. I took that risk, and I would have paid for it dearly if SoF had not been so greedy. Unfortunately, it didn't work out anyway as we were blindsided. You don't see me complaining on the forums...

I agree with LittleItaly.
Any i5 or i3 processor with 4gig RAM should be fine. I bought a $450 HP i3 with 2g RAM about 2 years ago and I still use it for streaming/etc. My girlfriend uses it for school most of the time.
For an extra ~$35, you can pop in another 2gig RAM easily.

Recently, I have seen some i5's (better than i3) that are < $500.00
