From a sol perspective, we regard Laf as one of the top, if not the top netgaining alliance, that has on many occassions set the path for other clans to adopt agressive pro-netting policies. Is Sol innocent, no, not since we liberalised our policies in 2006 or 2007.

Ultimately its the tragedy of commons, if one clan farms aggressively a resource, then its not a problem, but if everyone does it, then nothing is left. Sol resisted liberalisation of landgrabing policies for quite some time but it got to the point where members said that we are being taken advantage of because we find a good target then its dr'd by other clans, if you don't change the rules we will go to laf.

I'm not pro unions, but the real point is that if Organisations take care of their employees then there is no need for unions in a oppositional role, instead unions can provide support to members eg services and legal support.

Yeah i'd recommend a switch, considering you can pick one up for 10 dollars. I had friends with the same problem where they were connecting everything through ancient routers. In the end I got it working, though I had to update the firmware and they had the ancient optus routers where if you wanted to network them you had to restart them in the correct order or they wouldn't accept new network connections... The problem was that the optus (ISP) tech support got outsourced to india, and they didn't know waht to do with the old hardware.

Yeah I had to take some time off, when the choice was playing earth or getting an extra hour sleep in order to get 4 hours sleep total before going back to work. Good year for income though ;)

With my experience against netting clans, if there is no third party intervention. Warring clans have a higher restart rate and after a certain number of days about 2 weeks, the netting clans start trending down and the warclan trending up in networth.

Thats why I believe if Sof does win, it will be after a long haul.
