The challenge sounds boring. Next reset we'll have atleast 30 countries to fight from the sounds of things which is much more entertaining tha rolling around on the floor with 5 countries.

I think you don't know very much about RD. We don't have anything to 'prove'. Within our ranks from just the colors you know the identities of... we around 20 #1 ranked 1a/alliance finishes. (and that's just the ones you could know of). Some have led alliances, started alliances, and ended alliances from Titans to UCN, we've been around since before LaF even started as an alliance. What on earth could a 5-on-5 with a desheveled bunch of misfits do for us?

Your idea is basically just a waste of time. Go back to your think tank with Lords and try to get Yellow to be your first kill of the reset.

We keep telling people that if they avoid us they won't have to even worry about us.. But it seems some random ant keeps wanting to prove a point and test the boundaries. They then get suprised (just like you guys seemed to be) when they get killed for

a. Stating that they were going to hit RD
b. Have team mates that then attack RD

na, we're netgaining next set. So that would be inconvenient and it would be inappropriate for you to attack someone who's not planning on it at the same time.

I'm suspecting you weren't high enough ranked back then to know fully what was going on.

I could say that had Thumper been leading instead of Fingolfin I doubt UCN would have had any problems.

The thing is though, an alliance's spokeperson is their leader. If a leader does something everyone in that alliance gets punished for it.

Fingolfin not only first striked RD, but tried setting up a gangbang. All he managed to do was make RD more active and gave it an enemy. Before that RD hadn't had any problems with UCN.

Fingolfin started the UCN/RD thing. RD just finished it.

Downsay's country's doing pretty well. I guess you can call that a retal on your 'over retal' or a retal or whatever you called it last reset :)

Well put, and same goes to the others that got hit. Do a kill run, or join in on a kill run, and talk smack about RD and expect not to be hit the following reset?

RD's stance is and always has been " Leave us alone, we leave you alone" You guys just made the mistake of not leaving us alone.

Maybe next set you can try starting over and doing just that... though with chatters like kwmi I'm sure you'll keep things going.

iScode: The 2 pinoy players, nope. and neither was the IXer :) . I'm not blaming SoF or IX for what happened there a few members can do whatever they decide... Helmet and Diety weren't involved. Just pointing out that had nothing to do with RD.

First bot used to attack an alliance was a RoCK player that attacked Omega.

Second bot used to attack an alliance was a Bot ran by 2 players from SoF, used to attack IX and a couple other alliances.

Third bot used was a retaliation bot that killed those bots and some SoF members.

I'd hardly say that "RD ruined the game" Mehul was running a joke. They did deletions once in a blue moon, we just gave you guys a 'bad guy' that made the game more interesting then the crapfest it had become.

Also every alliance attacked by RD, RD was not the agressor.

UCN went after RD first
Titans went after RD first
and the list goes on.

Our policy has remained constant. Don't mess with RD we don't mess with you. Some people have chosen to "have fun" trying to test that policy. It was their decision, not ours.

actually it was LaF. but it didn't hold well as they didn't fair too well that reset and the following sets were problematic as well.

MD was the first to be able to make it stick though.

Under Gramberto, every hit on LaF was retaliated just following hte war that set, then the number of resets spent with LaF fighting off Gram and his group of suiciders that would likely have been forgotten.

I was half expecting to see Montreal in this final. The usually thing seems to be for the last few years is a badly seeded canadian team makes it to the final and losing in 7. Riding thier goalies and a defencemen or 2 all the way there.

Calgary (Kipper and Regier?sp) then Edmonton (Roloson&Pronger)... This year would have been Halak&Gill

Montreal though was just outmatched by Philly. 3 shutouts and a few periods durring that time when they didnt even take a shot.

sooner or later the all out defence with the odd run the other way was gonna catch up to them. I was already shocked when they beat the Capitals. Even more so when they beat the Penguins.

it made it fun to watch thier games but wasn't a recipe for success.

I'm liking Blackhawks in this one.. I don't like Kane much, but Toews is one hell'a player. And that team is just soooo deep.

Not that the Flyers aren't a deep team. Any team that's good enough that Briere can't fit on the first line, is doing pretty well. Just they can't match up roster wise with Chicago.

Though knowing Pronger, he'll probably injure 2 or 3 hawks before getting tossed from the series to help even things out :P
