2)Yes, the 3 set unap that was voidable for FDPs was void last set, even when you refused to give us a list of your FDP`s as per the agreement. That doest change the fact that you decline to renew it this set.

3)Thank you, but i`m sure SoF would be able to manage, dont sell your allies short, we hadt gone that far yet as to discuss who would get the FS and such, but im sure we could have worked out a fair deal as we did with lcn etc last set and it would have been fun for everyone, seeing SOL/SoF is about a close a matchup as you can find.

I havet watched the news, so i wont comment on that, but show me a competetive game with an alliance-based server, where you dont have to fight your way in, most new alliances has either outposted in other bigger tags for a few sets, even in the old days, or have started with some experienced players to help them with a) contacts and b) beeing able to retal.

When you are unable to retal, and there is something to gain from attacking you, people will do so, its the nature of competive gaming.

Also Detmer`s point is highly valid (shocking, i know :P)
Starting late, as a new alliance with no political compass, is going to be very, very hard.

SOL counts its first reset as may 1998, when SOL moves from 1B to 1A (because 1B was beeing shut down), the time in 1B when SOL was formed, is counted as reset 0.

SOL did join 1A under the UCN umbrella, but like Brink stated, UCN during that time, operated more like a UN style operation, not a alliance per say, Each division/council in UCN was a own alliance with their own site etc. The only core part of UCN itself was the central council (White council), and after Phoenix/Storm/SOL/ICN/TMA left UCN after the UCN/HAN war that set, i belive only the white council and the avengers was left under the UCN umbrella, this was the time when fin stepped up and UCN became more of the alliance we know as an alliance, but i digress.

From our archives i read that el paco and Daniel started LaF in early 1998, he writes that it started as tag "Don" with 20-30 people from his school, then took a reset off and started LaF in i quote "the summer of 1998"

If the oldest alliance is interesting, i guess we would have to find spesifics about this,i belive both alliances started at about the same time, but i would lean against SOL beeing counted as oldest as we didt take a break in reset 0 :)

RAINBOW, not sure what to say, try reading the wiki some.

Main key is to specialize, noone can be best at everything, trying to make everything go in pluss is a common beginner error, as it is way less effective than said specialization.

Consider playing an easy strategy, like farmer, meaning build mostly farms, and sell the bushels for money, this means you will have negative income, and that is ok.

Think long term, your BPT is way to low, you need atleast a full days turns of just Construction sites.

DO NOT TECH with that low amount of labs, just tear them down, each turn you spend teching is wasted when not playing a techer strat, meaning having almost all labs.

You will also have to buy your tech, and oil should you need that.

Build more CS, ALOT more CS to get your BPT up, set some indy production 5-10% to spies, and get some tanks for suicder protection.

Stop trying to compensate, an indy is supposed to have negative food and negative income.

Sell 2-3 times a day if you can.

Keep working on the indy tech.

I assume this is a rep startup and you are going to be a rep until your landgoal.

Build CS, it should have been atleast 65 ish at 80 turns played, aimed for 80 (25 bpt) when comming oop, but focus on them now, and it is salvageable.

Set your Indy production to 100% spies.

More farms for income until ready to tech, would suggest ~1400 before you start block exploring and build labs.

Stop building other stuff than CS and farms atm, add in some indys for spies as you go but i guess 500 should be sufficent.

Keep doing that until 1900 Acres and start block, then build labs.

While your examples are correct, most countrys legislation opens for charging their own nationals with crimes (by their national laws) commited in other countrys.

i.e If your a citizen of country A , go on vacation to country B, and do something that is illegal in A but legal in B, A can charge you for this upon your return.

Disclaimer : I said "most" , i mean many , i would advice you to check your own native countrys legislation on this, also not all laws are "active" , the policy or precedenses set by national courts may have an effect.

Anyway, i like to digress :D
