FFA has always been more of a war server for me, so many ways to go about running and hitting with your 16 as opposed to 1 in ther other servers. I can net, though not at an elite level, a tad here a tad and have done so, but prefer the war route most of the time.

I totally agree Dragon, when Ares came after Mercs, I really wasn't all that suprised it happened except for the timing. I didn't fault Ares for doing what they did, I might have done the same if the situation was reversed. STill just a game, but at least FFA is a bit more intersting than it was 6 months ago.

With the CF in place with more than a month left tin the set., my chief goal this set was to have fun this set with a good even war. Thus the extraordinary tactics that were employed by me and others, per the war dec Llaar posted a couple days ago in order to get our coutries prepped. As for myself, I haven't been tagged ICD for weeks, didn't even want to mess with the 72 hour rule or use them as protection while I got my coutries in order. If this is a really sleazy way to play, I'm sorry, but didn't see anyway around it. The goal was never to ambush someone and ruin a netting set for a cheap thrill.

As I see it this situation, no the CF wasn't broken. This wasn't a case of clan B begging for a CF and then jumping ship to clan C just to clan A 72 hours later. Clan A asked for CF first and even after that, there was much time after 72 hours passed that clan C hit a part of clan A back.

My point of view...others will see it differently.

The CF wasn't broken, countries that hit PAN were either never in ICD or detagged from ICD far before the minimal 72 hour time period. Neither did the TImmy tag pick on a defensess tag either.

I am not proud of the new tag issues, but I nor many others really were hiding, see a few of the country names.

But the ENTIRE goal of this set was to have even, clean, challenging but yet fun war. Ares kind of messed that up with attack on Mercs a week ago (no fault to them, I might have done the same thing). So the 8 of us challenged ourselves and decided that PAN, at least this set, was a war alliance, had war techs, war builds/gov'ts/etc, and would be a good fight. We knew there was a gooc chance NBK would come in, but was hoping that PAN would see that we picked a fair fight and would try to hold their own.

Things are what they are, got to roll with punches, this is just a game.

Last I saw, NBK/Ares/PANLV came to ICD about the CF. Maybe I didn't see everything, but that is how I took it.

I would hope that Rosco's seniment is shared in all quarters of the server. Timmy vs PANLV is close to a fair fight. The vast majority of PAN was still war oriented this set as per Llarr's DoW and TIMMY vs PAN be a good fight if allowed to happen without more interference.

I hope PANLV and their allies see things as such and let us have this 1v1. Turkey shoots get boring after a few days, and the adding in of PAN's allies will make this a very short, but yet loud, turkey shoot.

The fact is sirdog, is that people look for land wherver they find it.

My advice: best defense is good offense. If you start retalling hits successfully, people will be reluctant to hit you. This is a game where people take every advantage they see/find/create for themsevles. Playing passive with "don't hit me, I don't hit you" mentality won't work.
