Raising a family is the most important thing a man can do in life.
Req. This is the sort of extremely subjective stuff I’ll miss about you. I think, to caveat your point, that idiom sounds a bit better when you say that the most important thing a man WITH CHILDREN can do is show them what a good man is, and to be a good father.
I have no doubt you’re both, because you assume such things are granted, rather than a choice. Having children is a choice, and when you have them, being a good man and a great role model is doubly important, but also a choice.
It’s especially not good for people with genetic disorders, such as myself, to pass those on. You have to make those choices anticipating poor outcomes and I don’t anticipate myself putting someone else what I’ve been through willingly. That said, I have no doubt you’re a great father, and it’s a pleasure to know you and even vent at times. You’re someone I’ll miss.
