I think my point is trying to get an exorbitant amount of acreage that potentially wouldn't be profitable to build on or effective to build on. At certain acreage I would imagine the build cost would exceed the return on agreage.

The idea was to save on agritech at the start then start growing without regard to acreage built. I was figuring that with the tyrannys ability to grow massively, especially in a truncated fast paced set such as express that I could get fat enough to exponentially grow without having to worry about catching back up on tech in the backend. Will be predicated upon a LG strat that will probably end up getting me suicided but I am hoping I can outrun via humanitarian from the gate.

Was thinking of giving a tyranny farmer a test run. Tech start, swap to farms. My biggest question is this. Theoretically, is it viable to be a farmer and not build your acreage to 100% like a techer would.

I'm pretty sure I was discussing this the other day in terms of fair play here. Generic statements and even break numbers are ok because you could totally by lying; however, how other people treat that information is also in their hands. Providing exact data that you can verify easily with NW calcs are against the rules because then your just giving easy access to break without someone having to send their own op to verify.

If you send a message such as 'Hey, hit this guy #xxx because his break is only 5m', that will not violate these rules and you will be fine. After all, you can lie about that kind of stuff.

WTG with keeping money on hand, 0 bucks on hand = 0 barrels of oil at 180. The masses blame their incompetent leader and cause an earthquake.

PS I think someones been watching who I've been hitting because I've been seeing follow up attacks or maybe I'm just paranoid.

Easiest way to prevent that is to buy up all the oil myself. Who needs turrets if they can't send their jets at you.

Dear diary,

I think today might be my last LG. I'm out of oil and retals are definitely incoming (but will they have enough oil). Should have invested in solar tech instead of industrial. That tech thief will be in for a nasty surprise if he/she does it again. XD
Also have had to cut the kingdoms rations in half. We are hungry and cold we may have to burn books to keep us warm tonight.

Well, I didn't join GDI because as just returning from a long break (think 2002) it didn't make sense to join if I was gonna be trying to bottom feed; however, I now know it doesn't work that way anymore so I'm "stuck" playing this set non-GDI. I've taken some precautionary measures already but I may need to go higher than 50% sdi it looks like. He only pegged that guy once. I'm sure I'm certainly deserving of the shenanigans that have been thrown my way but that run on him was just brutal to see.

They probably think your an easy target. If they do it twice I'd send a missle at them if you don't have the firepower to outright retal. Another way to deal with it is to show you'll AB them by building up on tanks. They are more than likely spy oping you each day. So if they see tank build up they might cut it out.

Gonna let it ride and hope I'm online before he is tomorrow with my second batch of tech sold. I had some partial fills on some of the other tech because I run spread to guard against stuff like that in a single category. It's still a waste of a turn listing other stuff without getting to reapply the big things I'm trying to sell but I got to make bread to block this guys incoming.

Sometimes I got 30 below, sometimes I got 100 below, sometimes I go 100 above, sometimes I go 200 above. It depends on where I see price action going. I've got some bus/rez tech thats gonna be stuck on the market 2 days which will hurt the push the push I'm trying to make.

So... I've tried taking a peak at some top rated countries just to see how they are built and apparently the 3 I tried have all failed (I know I'm not going to stay this high very long as its my first set in primary in over 10 years). I thought my SPAL was pretty high so I was wondering what the formula was for successfully spying on other countries or if there is a pretty big random element to it.
