Good talk. Definitely been noticing an up-tick in BS legislative efforts against free use of technology lately.

This server war makes me really sad :( Would never have expected so many to jump in and defend LaF and allies after such a lame blindside.

When Omega jumped in a shed a tear, being an old Cult guy myself. What a ridiculously pointless war to jump into.

Can't be bothered to read the entire thread... but from what I understand LaF FSed Evo based on the fact that they thought Evo broke a pact by NOT joining them in a FS against another alliance?

Even if it was true, that's such a LAME reason to FS an ally.

LaF vs. Evo 1v1 arranged war plz. Let's settle this. We already know who the better netters are :P

Yeah... what an absolutely pointless waste of a reset. Normally I'd be pumped about the prospect of a war with LaF but this is just kinda sad. Lame reason to war. Lame FS. Now everyone has to jump in yada yada.

Shoulda just had a 1v1 pre-planned war with LaF. Wussies can't beat Evo at anything.

Yeah, it was it was. We're still chummy :P Chewi, I thought he might AB me. I told him I anticipated it and that I'd return the favour. After I pointed out we had both come out ahead in ghost acres he let it go, and so did I =)

Express is always interesting because if you get angry and have turns to use... you can totally wipe someone out.

Elliot was good. He's one of those guys that messed around a lot and rarely cared to play up to his potential. There are a lot of those guys :P

Kinda like what Brink said... lotsa guys just never really cared to set their mind to it.

Also, "they" have their own rules? What are you talking about? Did you even read my statement? This was in Express. As far as I know there is no "they" involved at all. I play by my own policies :P

Felt kinda bad when I found out it was Hash, but what can you do.

I consider Bobby and Slagpit very solid as well. I could go on and on. I've been lucky enough to watch a lot of guys over 14 years in a lot of different alliances, including The Club and SKA which were just a collection of really elite dudes.

I've been fighting against Ghost Acres since they were re-instated.

It's like people forget how things were when Mehul removed them originally. You think big alliances would just let small alliance topfeed with a 1:1 policy? lol

I'm totally against ghost acres, land trading and land creating within a tag. Always have been, even 10-15 years ago when SKy used to do it.

The column "Asking" in the market is the top price someone has a standing order out at, correct? Technically this is a bid. Should probably read Bidding.

The "Best Price" is actually the current Asking price.

Asking = selling at X.
Bidding = willing to pay Y.

I was looking at the top tourney records in EE... and I'm seeing some INSANE numbers. Even the old cheaters in Earth:2025 couldn't really top 40-50m nw.

Are those crazy numbers legit? Were the rules different for a few resets or something?

I agree with you about the standing orders.. that's a great idea. No more being married to your computer for cheap goods as you say.

Is there a datasheet with all countries in game listed to help with land grabs? If so, does Earthstats or Earthgraphs still work with the new database?

I like the changes to Military tech and CI. Makes farming and CI a little bit stronger. Food must be more expensive on average than it used to be.

Yeah I can see what you mean with the Team Sever issue. I prefer playing with more people anyways.

Corruption is an interesting idea. It would make destocking certain strategies somewhat easier. That will be interesting to get used to. I suppose you'd still stock for the most part until near the end of the game.

Team server is an interesting concept. I'm not surprised the implemented Ghost acres... as odd as they were.

Few questions for Qz, Slagpit or anyone that helped program the new game (or anybody that can answer I suppose):

"Mehul factor" aka small random chance on SS and PS... did you program one? HAHA

Did you reproduce the 2^31 cash bug to maintain the integrity of the old "stockpiling" system?
