If I remember correctly, Pang is vigorously opposed to this (not new or original at all) idea:

If the #1 bar to entry is learning curve, why not offer 99-turn "canned" starts? Or even 100 turn ones with the 100th turns being a sale (or 101st turn or whatever)?

It could be really simple as far as the choices - you want a mon farm start or c/i? You can even give them the option to "continue auto-start" or "switch to manual control" every time they log in still under protection. I am confident many long time players would take advantage of this too - the first 100 turns are a PITA when you've already done them over 1000x.

Interesting thing in Clash of Clans, not sure if it would work here.... their clan war system matches like numbers up automatically. So if my clan has 13 members and yours has 17 members, we'll be matched up for a 10 vs. 10 with the top 10 of each clan. It might be nice to somehow incorporate that here at some point, whether via game mechanics or player-agreements / FA arrangements.


There have been agreements like that in the past, with split off tags and everything. Seems like it would've made a comeback at some point with all the "OMG Gangbang LOL."

Grabbing or all-x? If you are going to grab a lot having the extra turns to build will help a fascist overcome the tech/tax disadvantage. Depends on the server.

I am a tyr guy. I came up as a netter first, and better netting countries make better warring countries. In a clan setting you need dicts to break, but tyrs are the bread and butter. You can also run a nasty warring techer with a tyr, which is not an option with any other strat, and it freaking dominates. 1v1 tyr no question, dict can't make up for the extra turns.

I think a major step would be an honest to god app instead of just a mobile site. I found a calculator app and was kind of surprised no game app. This is basically clash of clans with no graphics.
