Thanks again for all your responses Marshal, you've been a great help to making my triumphant return more triumphant!

1) I felt like I had an insane amount of land per military when I did that this past round in express(and I was getting hit often), I guess balancing more CS might sorta solve that, but idk. Is casher designed to be able to keep up with indies early or am I supposed to wait until 1200 turns?

@Xinhuan, I've been exploring different start-ups(returning player).

1) as a casher starting casher I felt way too land fat early on. Am I supposed to cash early turns to keep from getting too fat, or just build CS?

2) for a farmer, tech start, would I want to stay monarchy during tech phase or jump straight into fascism?

3) why is 1920 acres the gold standard for tech starts? I know it's because of the explore break points, but couldnt you quickly explore to 5k acres and tech 2.5x more for those turns rather than staying at only 1920?

IMO bottom-feeding indy is the easiest--->followed by Theo indy start to techer--->casher can be really easy since you don't need to grab much, but you tend to be behind until your tech %s are really high.

Main thing is don't fail your attacks. If you can log on in 2-hour increments you can easily make 5+ grabs per day just using PS.

Iirc the casher I spied on was at 2.7 mil expenses, 6.1 mil income before expenses. So after expenses he was around 4.5 mil I believe, but he was also over-defended imo.

And let's say I do that casher start-up...How do I prevent getting overly landfat? And at approx what acreage will I usually want to buy my tech?

Used to play a lot of Earth 2025. Just returned. Played a theo techer last round on express but looking to play rep casher next round. Am I best off doing a monarchy indy start-up, buying tech, then converting or going straight rep casher from start?
