Well I was in SoF before I joined MX... and seeing as IX and MX no longer exist, SoF was the only other alliance I had a calling to join.

So... who is good with creating messagebots? I think Alliances should get recruiting on there. I wouldnt mind throwing in a helping hand with some spam recruiting for the benefit of the community.

Marketing a game is just as important as developing it. If he is putting the effort in then good on him. We need to do the same thing here if we want to see the player base increase.

There is no reason why people cant play both games, but for the benefit and expansion of this game people need to bring them here.

Well any of their servers can prove to be a viable source of fresh talent for Alliances here. Smart alliances should start working on some message bots, because the transition for players should be seamless.

Looks like they have done a good job. As I said, might be a good recruiting ground for Alliances here if they have as many players as they say they have.

Looks like there is a CWG over there as well from what I can see. I wonder if any old school CWG are playing there.

If they are heavily populated with players, might be good for the EE developers to take note of the keys to their success to apply them here.

There is no harm in studying and milking your competition. You just need to make sure you get the edge over them as well to make your product a more attractive one.

Who started this game again? I know it was an Earth player and it is pretty much an Earth clone like EE. Seems to be doing well with lots of players.

Maybe a good recruiting ground for Earth Empires ;)

GT based alliance certainly hurt a lot when GT shut down. I know the alliances I was somewhat in contact with lost a lot of members upon its demise. I was not around when ES shut down, but no doubt those alliances hurt as well. When GT closed a lot of people were out of their comfort zones and simply did not like using ES or alternatives.

Look at IX for example. Just before GT closed down IX was still hovering around 80-90 members on Council, then it went into serious decline. Sure there were other factors that lead to it's eventual fall, but the move from GT certainly hurt.

SOL and SoF are both still using their original websites and thus it is easier for those alliances to bring old members back because they can enter familiar surroundings.
