JJ asked this question but never got an answer. If you attack your O ally's D ally, how are ally contributions counted?

1. The common ally's contribution is ignored for both the O and D allies
2. The common ally's contribution is included but he does not lose any forces

My assumption is that it's a circumstance that hasn't been considered and the ally loses MU in both attacking and defending the target.

Your allies XXX and YYY attacked each other, and your forces refused to fight on both sides!
