Xin, I attempted to compute the maximum population for my country.

Max Pop = (1-0.95*Taxrate)*(24*Res+12*Land)*ResTech*GvtPOP*BioFactor

(1-0.95*0.35)*(24*0+12*1895)*1*1*1 = 15178.95 Maximum population.

15178.95*.80= 12143.16 (80% of max population)

So I need 12143.16 to reach my 80% mark in this scenario?

Or would Res = 1 rather than 0?

"Res" is the number of Residence buildings you have built. It's usually 0 if you're not a casher, or you might have a little bit of it from grabbing countries.
