The 50% pop bonus doesn't make a difference for res/ent ratios. However, not having +20% PCI could make a difference.

why the hell you would run theo casher? theo's max techs are lower than for example rep's.

Theo cash wins express. Theo cash has won in primary. It can also do well in team (at least top 5).

Not sure about tourney or alliance, but we'll see.

Compare a Theo Casher with no tech and a Rep Casher with no tech.

You'd be surprised how awesome it is... (without tech)

thats why i asked, i noticed there were a few t10 theo cashers in express.

i started a bit late and lost a bunch of turns and im running a theo techer in FFA and i was gonna convert to tmbr but im wondering if converting to casher would be more ideal at this point (im still teching). i just figured not change govt;s but i guess i wont loose all that much doing so.

I doubt a full set MBR would beat a straight casher or techer. And you are correct, nobody running casher as a permanent strat would have 0 tech. However, early in the set you're not going to have the income to buy tech. I was merely pointing out that it is much stronger in the beginning. If a Theo were to use that advantage and grab well, it should stay ahead of the majority of Rep Cashers.

hm you need to net more marshal before you post your advice, a full set mbr that sounds horrible

MBR is an end set strategy and shouldnt be used for anything else

many have run full set tmbr (at least at jolt's earth) but about their ending nws i have no idea since they did that (mostly) at primary/tourny.

I ran a theo casher for a couple sets in Tourney... It fared pretty well. Especially since greater BPT allowed for more turns to cash. And even more especially rebuilding with angry AB retallers.

1 of my 3 top 10's in Express was with a Theo/Casher -> TMBR. I would never play it in any other server, but at least for that server it works pretty well.

express is so short that normal casher doesn't get to that high fly as on alliance.

I just tried this in tourney. My take is that it's a great strat if you are gonna grab.

*edit* PS - I was all-X and finished 11th in A. In primary I feel I could dominate with this strat. Diez also won alliance with it last set.
