Is that equally frowned upon in team server? I guess some teams do not typically care what other people think about them anyways.

my opinion its bad on any server but haven't seen debates about it much.

its basically the same as FA chains or buyouts. its just another strategy to get ahead.

after all its a TEAM server. sounds like teamwork to me

on 5 member team (only 1 team) its not that benefitting.

in general no it doesn't help much for a team game.

it did in our cicumstance as the extra land helped my PM fill up faster. And there would be alot less complaining then if I farmed the few fattest countries before jumping instead (which I could have) Instead we decided to keep it in house.

In general though as I say, it wouldn't really benefit a team though... as written above there's not enough member base so it just hurts.

But it is a team game so if you felt like doing it at the start feel free. If some low life decided to post on the boards that you're a bad guy, I'd defend you :) even though... oh wait! :)

It could be made to work, but it would be tough to protect the acres with only five players unless you carried a lot of mil - which of course would clip the benefits of internal farming quite a bit.

How does everybody feel about internal taps on a tag's retaller to return the acres to the netters?

two stepping

I thought two stepping was hitting a grabber to put him in DR before he could be retalled, could be wrong though - I frequently am

I believe 2 stepping is grabbing/farming a friend's country after they have grabbed someone, giving them no shot at having a decent retal.

Also after seeing how emotional snaw is I'd like to withdraw my RSVP to his cherry popping party, I'm afraid he may become a stage 5 clinger if we do it.

It's either grabbing someone after they've grabbed land from another tag, or a clan mate grabbing a retaller after he's taken a retal on another tag.

Basically, if someone besides the retaller ends up with the land, it be 2 stepping.

Regular FA standards are 72 hrs after a retal is made for it to be considered 2 stepping, I believe.

its not technically 2 stepping if its off a retal. its your land youre just taking it back. i would have no issue with someone retalling me then the country i hit grabbing that country. if i hit it back its a RoR anyways so there should be no issue.

I agree with Pain. IMO, Retal Land is Clan/Team/Alliance Land as far as I'm concerned.

That said though, unless the country allowing itself to be grabbed by its members does nothing but retals, there's 2 stepping issues. Bad juju.

I wouldn't recommend testing that theory in FFA or Alliance. I've seen plenty of countries killed for it over the years.

I know LaE will kill countries for both versions of 2 stepping, as will (and have) a few others.
