there appears to be something amiss in game a this set

anyone want to shed some light on the developments

there isn't any outside sites to check for tourney as far as i am aware

concerning tourney, game A,

i would guess he's exploring how far you can push the oil for pm units exchange - by dumping land, he also gets to dump most tech, keeping only some mil to minimize pm prices, and needs only a few military bases to drive his pm prices to rock bottom. of course his pm is tiny, but he can convert oil to units instead ... which might help explain the consistently high oil prices this set

otherwise, my impression is that the market and game have seemed a little constipated for the last couple of days, but not way out of line ... this could be a handful of players who are unwilling to take turns because they are "stuck" in the market, either needing big bushels to escape corruption fees, or needing to sell mil units to raise cash and reduce expenses ....

just my way of seeing things

I'm just saying, this game is kinda douchey. My sad little commie is just hoping to scrape into the top 10, I'm not going to kill anybody. Besides, the advantage of 250 acres is impregnable SPAL and SDI. Still, 10-15 SS will kill him.

i imagine its not so easy to do those 10-15 SS against a 16mil NW country with oil prices of several hundred dollars

indeed, and if you can do that you might as well invest those resources in nw yourself..

If everybody on the tourney server was more interested in 'investing those resources" in themselves, the game would be a lot less douchey.

I have consistent results with my start but at the end the top 10 seem to have double my net worth. No idea how to break in to the top of game a.

Just make sure you do some stockpiling, 2b cash + some bushels can easily add 10 mil nw at the end of the set

oh yes you gonna land kill him when he is pumped out you need to break first in order to do that :P
