We get about 12 extra turns per day due to the bonus, which will lead to 360 more turns than usual. It's almost guaranteed that the NW record will be broken this set. And equilibrium will win without a doubt.

Hmm i thought so about the turns. Looks like lotsa records will be broken with all those extra turns - not taking away anything from equilibrium, great set

equilibrium got to 20k acres pretty early, tough to beat that. He was grabbing a few countries more than a few times, but they didn't seem to be able to get to him. Lucky fellow =)

He had that 20k acres since this thread was started. I was kind of surprised he was able to keep it. I really thought someone he had grabbed more than a few times would have suicided him near the end of the set. If I had done that I'm sure I would have been suicided.

I try to choose the people I multi-tap very carefully based on their past news and how their country is built. that's why you didn't get a visit from me brink :P (I actually have no idea which country was yours). I'm not at home so I don't know for sure but I think I only multi-tapped 4 or so countries. and I did get suicided a bit by one of them.

btw, I'm sure no one cares but i forgot to buy food the day before the set ended and I logged in to an empty bushel market which cost me over 2m nw

I screwed up the no food thing too, cost me 1.2m NW but still sliped into the top 10 after missing some turns from a vacation, getting in an AB war and having to change strat mid set.

Completely agree. Back when 7th and that group was playing, I would yo-yo in and out of A. I could finish in the top 10 of game A every few sets. Now top 10 of A happens with very little effort, my worst A effort was 11th.

There are less great players to contend with now. Although I did see a country name in the top 10 last set that I haven't seen since the 90s. If it is the same guy, he was a top 5 player who could win any set. Add in bakku, and it is getting more interesting.
