Furthermore I checked my email and have had no response there either. I initiated in a war with someone after he hit me for 30plus AB's and since the guy was also being attacked by someone else I get deleted immediately for collusion...

Fairly certain #34 isn't at fault here. Bibi is a well known idiot and I don't know who this guy is. Bibi hit #34 (why? the guy is obviously good, he won last set, because Bibi is an idiot), #34 retalled, bibi then RoRed and they started fighting. Out of no where Nuke Time comes in. So yes, the mod made the right call.

So another case of you aren't allowed to retal, even when you are retalling 30 ABs?

I rarely pay attention to whats going on over on the Team server, but could it be that some of the controversy there is finding its way over on to the solo servers?

crest23, #22 was in his right to retaliate for earlier actions on him, BiBiGoN should be only purple.

#34 didn't hit him though. There was no random ABes.

^Umm #34 hit me with over 30AB's following a single land grab by me nuke time. Seemed completely justified yet I get deleted.... Also I followed the written procedure of using this forum and my email yet never got any reply except for this thread with non of this is official.

I don't know what the lesson in all this is, other than if you get purpled for any reason, or no reason, there is not going to be any accountability for it. :(

Based on other forum posts, posting in the forum is not how they want you to appeal.

In fairness though, there are something like 15 different places to look for a complete rules set in this game, so I would not be surprised if there were some slightly contradictory data.

The interesting thing is that someone was a big enough baby that when two people he AB'd and ROR'd fought back, he went and reported them as cheaters.

I think the main reason this hasn't happened is that I've ranted about all the mods on many occasions, and a couple of times wrongfully, too.

So follow up I sent another email and have yet to get any response other than automated. Still awaiting some sort of response from a mod as to the reasoning. I don't care if this is weeks old topic no reply is unnacceptable when you have an appeal process/mods in place

Viceroy I learned the appeal process doesn't get looked at and the only way to get action is to message the moderator directly. Unfortunately by the time I realized this the set was over and I got screwed into restarted in game B

Mostly, I drudged up this thread after reading some threads on the Express server. It somehow seemed pertinent.

This game does an absolutely horrendous job in passing information, like how to play properly or how to get an issue resolved. Thank goodness we have a search function for the forums. And a chat server. And a wiki. And a blog. And the News link.

I agree it needs more polishing, however its a great game and the staff does an outstanding job considering they do it without lucrative compensation ;-)

I agree with everything you said (other than the fact that when I started to play this game, Y2K was still something to worry about), but they can't expect players to be able to hit moving targets. They have recreated and improved upon a good game and made it great. Don't make us guess at how to properly play it.
