Techers are the only ones forced to stock food in tournament. Indies dont and cashers can avoid it depending on how they wanna play. So basically if the tech market is nice for techers you will see a rise in food prices for a few days while they are stocking and before anyone destocks. I have seen food at 60 in tournament, but it doesnt happen every reset.

Farmer is high risk low reward lol. That said I did do close to 30m NW with it and got 2nd the one set I tried it. That was with food never rising above 45. The reason is that Rep Farmer is pretty potent due to its high tech efficiency (only one tech to max, so cheaper than casher) and because its more turn efficient than casher. That and the fact it can explore for longer in the end. When you jump from a higher acreage it means jumping later and/or spending less on expensive turrets and more on cheap tanks/troops. Ofc it also means that you will be the fattest all-xp in the game which paints you as a target.

I can't seem to get more than 14 mil NW no matter what I play lol
