I logged in 20 hours after the start and I didnt get the 6 bonus turns.
How does this work? Am i supposed to log in at the beginning then log in again 18 hours later?

you must login at the start and then after 18 hours

The timer for bonuses starts 6 hours after the beginning of the set. So you need to log in 24.42 hours after the set starts to maximize your bonus. (6 hours + 18 hours plus 1 turn to be safe)

I logged in at 42 mins, then again at 20 hrs and got the bonus;

Charcoal, if you start posting accurate information, no one will ever join Monsters to get obscure incorrect information. Knock it off.

Maybe Getafix is talking about if you haven't logged in, and Charcoal got the bonus because he had logged in.

I once saw qzjul say you could log in before the set starts, and then collect the 18 hour bonus 18 hours after game begins, but I tried that and didn't get the 6 bonus turns. Maybe if I had waited 24.42 hours...

its not messed up, you simply can't get them in the first 24 hours, to make sure that people who log in right at the start can't get a 6 turn advantage....

Does anyone know the minimum number of turns you have to take before you start getting 12 and 18 hour bonuses? I took 25 turns in Tournament and received the bonus. Not sure about Alliance at all

Thanks! Of course, that leads to another question.. :) It sounds like to maximize this bonus you have to log in at 24.1 hours, then wait 12 or 18 hours. But maybe you can log in at 6.1 hours and get the bonus at 24.1. I'll have to try it

After consulting various chicken entrails and posts, it would appear that the 6 hour delay on bonus turns may not apply in Tournamnent B.

That might explain it - good investigative work Getafix.

I always have to wait for 6h into the set for all servers before logging in, then logout for 18h to get the bonus. I don't play tourney B though.

@ braden, I also recall qz saying you could login before the set started and get the 18h bonus on the 6h mark of the set, however I've tested it again and again and it's never worked for me.

I've just been playing tourney. I always log in right as soon as the round starts to start the clock, and then again 18 or 19 hours later an get the bonus.

Yep, same, and it always works.

If you log in 18 hours after the round started WITHOUT ever logging in, doesn't work.

If you log in before the round starts, then log in again 18 hours after the round started, still doesn't work.

If you log in after the round starts, then wait 18 hours, it works fine.

This goes against everything qzjul has said.

That definitely doesn't work for me in express, so perhaps it's server-specific.

24.2 isn't long enough! No bonus turns when I logged in.

I just logged in as well to no effect. 57 turns not 63 :( and I logged in at 12:01 GT last night.

Glad it wasn't just me.

I never logged in after the start. I think I was 1.5 minutes away from the six turn bonus because it said "next turn 1.5 minutes" when I went in.

I was wondering when this month's topic would be created on this same issue.

It comes up a lot because it's a very misleading design. Uninitiated people will always be confused how their last log-in can be over 18 hours ago and they still don't get 18 hour (or even the 12 hour) bonus turns. I even know how it works and still got burned because I waited over 24 hours but not ENOUGH over 24 hours.
