I want a set where I don't:

Run out of food
Buy food on the private when I think I am on the public market
Run out of food
drop land when I think I am destroying buildings
Run out of food
Buy 10,000,000 bushels when I tried to buy a million
Run out of food

And countless other little stupid mistakes each reset. I've been back for 4 resets, and run out of food 3 of them now.

meh, I did recall a dumb sale (i think it was 1m+ troops at 13 instead of 130) once knowing that I would run out of money on the 3rd turn, not realising that I didn't have enough food for even 1 turn. I nearly cried when I realised what I'd done.

Waited 18 hours to log in. I didn't know or didn't remember that you have to log in at least once to start the 18 hour bonus clock. So I waited around forever, and don't get 6 free turns.

I only play tourney. A couple of hours before the tourney round started, I went a head and collected my 8 bonus points so I could have a jump on the round. All 8 points were wiped out likely when the round started, but my clock to get more still hasn't expired.

Little dumb stuff like this.

At least I remembered to sell my troops this time.

Brink - just don't run out of food as a TMBR after you have made your jump and are reselling lol

the last 2 sets I forgot to log on to finish destocking on the last day. Both times I had about 2bil left in cash and a full pm :(

Haha it happens. I overslept. The worst part is i woke up 7 mins after the set ended. Wouldnt have felt so bad if it was a couple of hours

Confused my build per turn and my available to build number. Ended up building half the buildings I could have for the turn when I could have explored a turn and done a full build.

On the very next turn, I tried to explore 2 turns. I didn't get any acres, couldn't understand. HIt the back button, wasn't thinking re-submitted the action. Yep, I cashed for 4 turns instead.

All of these are oh so familiar to me...now I just learned what purchasing bushels on the private market instead of selling them can do to a startup (hint...I can't think of a better way to destroy cash).

Brink - play FFA, you dont have to run a full set but it will help you weed out these small mistakes on a server I'm guessing you dont care about and also let you experiment with different startups/strategies

when you run out of food, does it damage your max pci for the rest of the set, or just for the next few turns until your pci grows to meet max pci again

To be truthful, I run out of food a lot myself. Occasionally low $s bite me on the ass too. At least once a week or so I lose like this.

I have calculated having enough food for a batch, and then I forgot I had just got done building residences and buying res tech the day before. :(

I just barely missed doing this exact thing. One single turn more and I would have run out of food. I should have been safe by 15 turns by my math.

I bought turrets on the private market when I thought I was on the public. Turrets were running at $120 on public, I looked at the market, saw $203, it my mind it was $103, and I jumped on them.

Failed 2 PS against 2 countries that had a high proportion of defence as troops...

Used a spreadsheet to calculate how many jets to send.

The cell for troop numbers was formatted as text so troops weren't added into my calculation.

Fear my numerical abilities.

One time I grabbed a farmer and was gradually destroying the farms while building labs by the time I was done, I found out I had destroyed all my construction sites in the last step.

One time I was convering from techer to casher and saved up turns so I could do as much in a day as possible. Used up my entire turns come to find out I was destroying and rebuilding labs ALL DAY!!!

Built 150 military bases by mistake yesterday.

Rush rush rush and don't check what you're doing.

Off to a fantastic start, and tech is even reasonable. Not great, but reasonable.

And I just ran out of food, and yes, the make it even better, there is not one bushel on the market.

Time to build farms.
