Either you're fully involved and it's exciting cause interesting news/drama happens like every five seconds if you're paying attention (or smacks you in the face to punish you for looking) OR you don't know where to find information/active chats and it's boring...

The UI updates we're currently working on should make playing a lot easier. As well as re-engaging people.

When do we get to test drive?

Hopefully sooner than later. I've been trying to lock down a lot of the core concepts and high level design before going through the rest of the "netgaining" pages. War/clans etc are still going to be a work in progress for the next few months.

I'm hoping we can release it to existing players to see how the UI behaves under real world playing conditions while we work on ways to better onboard new players and level up their game knowledge.

Right now, other than the little advisor dude, there's not much that helps new players understand wtf they're supposed to do and that is not good.

Have you ever thought about a scripted “mission” of sorts that has you do a few things around the entire UI and maybe do a mock attack on someone. Gets them to explore everything and such. Deff have a skip option when you first start a country :p
