I'll say what I said last set. If you argue in favor of 1:1 retals instead of land:land, that same logic dictates that stockstealing is acceptable. If you must defend your land, then you also must defend your stockpile.

But I'll also say that dropping land and grabbing someone is a real douchebag move, worthy of being killed. If Focus doesn't offer you satisfactory reps, then you should kill the country involved.

stock stealing may be a backdoor move but if you forget your stock at home then tough fluff if you get grabbed and lose some. if i saw someone sitting on 500m bushels or 50b cash because they decided to max out corruption bonus istead of stocking like everyone else i would probably grab them. there has to be a risk to everything. i agree the land dropping was out of line and proper retals were authed to compensate for that.

it might not seem like its worth the 4 turns but this late in the set i recall all my stock and re-list it all together everytime i play turns.

Thanks Pain for offering the retals for this. I am going to let it slide and not make any retals. There is no reason to take land at this stage of the game, it would be more productive to just finish out the set as I am planning.
