I have looked on the web, I cant make one until I get CL, and upgrade my computers php to 5, im on dial up so it would take forever to download the file.

I know there are other ways with other languages, but I am not that experienced in this.

Anyone wanna help? :)

just write a mIRC script. It's easy and took me a couple hours one weekend to learn.

Just an IRC bot that can relay news for one tag, like the ones EE gives but I dont wanna sit in there keeping track of hits from my tag in between other tags lol

yes dial up, Where I live here is almost 20 minutes from town(where they have cable and high speed) lol

What I am doing soon though is getting satellite internet which is better than nothing really lol

Just write a script for mIRC to parse the EE feed and write the results to a text file (log) rather than relay them back into the channel. Problem solved. Simply idle on the EE server.

I have a small Ruby script that I used during our last set. It's capable of what you need with a few adjustments. Best way would be to let the script write to a text-file and simply read that from php. Message me if you are interested.

Because the ruby script I have already works and adapting it would be a question of rewriting 20-40 lines of code.
