I feel this might be pretty interesting given how many land traders there are with so many traditional top 10 netters out of the picture, what do you think the cutoff will be? What about top country?

The last time there was a big war, 160M was the cutoff but LaF still netted and there was no mass land trading (and without mass FA how competitive will the land traders be this set?). With the suicides and considering a lot of them have unbuilt land, I think:

top5: 191M (but depends on FA etc)
top10: 168M

Think it will really be that low?

The landtraders are stupid. Running with 100k turrets or whatever they have. Since they are doing mass landtrading I wouldn't be surprised to see a phat FA package as well personally. So picking the best country is a bit like darts in the dark.

with the really low prices on bushels this set... if one of those super fatties is a casher i think rank one will be the highest we've seen yet... and as yet i don't think we have seen countries with this much land at this point in a set... if they know how to stock and destock properly i'm thinking the 290's will be the bottom end cutoff

most of the landtraders tend to lack the knowledge to get the most out of their country. I'd say there is no way in hell the top ten gets anywhere near 290 even if they did. The bottom part of it anyways :P

RD put up a mass FA to ~250M before, and with land trading, I don't doubt they could push above that. I agree with locket though which is why I put my guesses rather low. I doubt there are ten land traders who have some experience from FFA or typically can get 150M without trading, but the FA really does make it impossible to know, which is why it is so fun to guess.
