$50M isn't going to prevent them from dying either and RD would come out so far ahead that you might not do it just out of spite. Worth is something that is determined by both sides; hence the negotiations. It's worth nothing if they're dead and worth lots if given to RD. The price should reflect accordingly by meeting somewhere closer to the middle. Don't you watch let's make a deal? No one runs off with $100 because it's better than losing in the next round, but once the offer gets into real money, people really have to think about it.
