i am a solo tag and i just got back into the game, im not a suicider by any means and if i hit a tag i only hit it once in 72 hours and move on. i am not a great player by any means, i just like the game. this message is for anyone who wants to contact so i can become a better player.

not really looking to join a clan this set but maybe next time around, when a new set starts, as of now i dont have the time to devote to it

Stick to yourself and don't do anything to raise suspicion that you're a suicider and you'll be fine.

And if you want to join a clan, there are plenty that would take you, as you can see with Elysium recruiting you already.

soloing ain't problem as long as doesn't do multiple hits against alliances or use missiles etc or hit fattest country alliance has.

Keep in mind, you start grabbing clans, they'll start grabbing back :)

This is what i wish all untags would do. Why cant they make a single man tag. And post on the forums. So we know they are suiciders.

But maybe reduce the topfeeding a bit if ur solo tagged. a 7k acre country hitting a 50k acre country might piss someone off. And you dont have much protection solo.

topfeeding would piss 99-100% of alliances.

NBK - never pissed about topfeeding
Focus - probably pissed about topfeeding
IMP - will probably kill you, mostly because they are assholes, not because of topfeeding specifically
TKO - probably gets pissed about too much topfeeding (drinks is a tko leader i think?)
Ely - probably gets pissed bout too much also
PANLV - definitely get pissed, especially if done after losing 200k acres on a single guys string
CC - never get pissed about topfeeding
SemperFi - will probably war you like they did NBK haha
ESD - dragon will post angry messages then self-delete 16, so probably pissed?
llaar - will try their best to get it back, pissed off but deals with it.
XI - probably wont get pissed because they are the cooler part of IMP, hence the breakup </3 lol

thanks for the advice but i have a question about "topfeeding"
if my networth is roughly the same as the person i hit, then why shouldnt i be allowed to hit that country regardless of acreage?
i dont know who all agrees with this but if you got 50,000 acres shouldnt you have some defense? i realize that a large tag is good defense, but from what ive gathered about retal policies, a land grab is retaled 1:1 on a single grab from a tag in 72 hours... i understand there are politics involved, i only ask that if i do something wrong someone let me know. i have applied for a boxcar site but dont have one yet so all i can do is read the forums to look for wars and stay away from those tags. any info would be useful as i stated earlier i just got back into the game, and would love to continue playing, thanks for all the advice, and i welcome continued input

wartoad, if you use all 16 to grab one tag, expect you'll be placed on farm/kill. if you use your 16 to spread out hits over several days and several tags, you lessen the risk. either way, those tags have tag 'protection' and many wouldn't think twice about protecting their netters if you grab them 3+ times in a day. most likely you'll see escalated retals anyway. i would argue 1:1, 2:3, 3:6, 4:farm, 5+:farm/kill lol. keep those basic principles in mind and you may live out the set. also, stay away from IMP because they like killing just for kicks. that's probably the best advice for you.

I don't have a problem with it but I strongly advise not to LG for big acres, bigger clans. Your best bet is to talk with clans leaders to find out what is acceptable. If you want to top feed, the best thing to do is getting into a big clan that doesn't self farm. In a small or solo clam, you'd do best just to pact up most of the server.

Yes mike im a leader in TKO but i wasnt voicing mine nor TKOs view.
Was just pointing out to wartoad that with only 16 countries, someone might get annoyed at you using a 7k acre country to hit a 50k acre country and kill you because you dont have numbers to back you up.

I wasnt saying it would happen, and i wasnt saying it should happen, and i wasnt saying TKO would do it.

Just recommended he go lightly on the matter. Cause if he does it once a week, he will probably get away with it. If he does it daily, then i can see someone killing him.


I wasnt posting my vie but if you want my view here it is: I dislike topfeeding. If you want to landgrab then hit people within 200% of your land. So they have the opportunity to retal. Eg if you were 10k acres and hit a 20k acre country. After the initial hit and the retal you would probably now be around 12k acres and the other country would have returned to 20k after the retal. Making it a fair exchange as you gained and the other country was able to break close to even.

well my opine is if you have 50k acres you should have some defense
rather than 0.

and our opinion is if you do such, you better be able to back it up ;)

Heh... I might get bottomfed by the people 1-150 ranks above me, but I can always get it back from someone 250-300 ranks below me. XD

Perhaps only in Elysium and TKO. Best of luck enforcing additional retals for whatever you determine to be "topfeeding" here.

Ely hasn't done any retals based on topfeed.

I don't think people realize what top feeding was, and how the term no longer is relevant in todays game.
