In this game they can force you to play the way they want (war) or you'll simply just be killed off... But what if a netter wants to netgain? They can't force anyone into netgaining. So if you like to netgain you can only do so if warmongers allow it, the decision is theirs. That is the problem with this game.

This.

Also I argee, it is too bad that some side consequence of this game (that you are able to kill a country) has somehow taken control of it.

Martian there are but also those said alliances do not play how they want to play, they just conform to whatever the war alliance say/do so they can all explore net every set. That's still not quite the same :D

I like how reckless put it, i.e. read above!

pusssy foot turned to fluff? I meant like how cats(pussies) tend to tip toe. Not actual vaginas.

I didnt mean alliances who were getting their periods around other alliances.

@requiem: if you think war alliances get to play how they want to play that is far from true. Leading a tag means a lot of hard work to try to ensure that things go your way and it doesn't always work out for you. more often than not you get involved in things you would rather not. You can't always be in control. Such is the nature of the game or any competitive interactive game.

this is why the pillars of the game are built on tanks, troops, jets, turrets and spies. it is a war game.

if you want it to be civilized then put more value on civil things.

It is a war game?

here I thought the goal was the build the "strongest country" using diplomacy, growth, and war as potential methods of doing so.

It seems the game description would agree with me on this?

MONSTERS net whenever they want to net. So-called other "netting" alliances get curbstomped because they try to play politics or start wars without cause only after they've had their netgaining "fill".

warrers beat up netters and make them whine. therefore warmongers are the strongest.

or if netters come out on top then they are the strongest. the nws and ranks are relative if you're playing this game to build the strongest country/alliance. the ranks are more like sorting countries by nw. you could sort them by any variety of metrics.

you could try to sort them by whatever you want, the fact that the same was designed to rank them by NW should tell you something when it comes to how countries are measured...

Hee, interesting how the admins have been trying to figure out a way to measure war now that you mentioned that H4xOr.

Just because you are not fond of a certain play style doesnt mean that the game is not suited for that type of play.

Game would be able to exist better with the two types of play styles if there were "MORE PLAYERS".

Making netters cry for their countries is the good part of the game....

The admins having recently begun trying to find a way to measure warring in no way reduces the weight of the fact that there has been no measurement up until now. This is an example of the game bending to the community, contrary to the original intent.

I have no problems with warring what so ever. I do have problems with people claiming this to be a "war game" as some type of blanket undermining of netgaining, because that obviously isn't the case when you actually look at the game. It is a ridiculous statement and thus deserving of my ridicule.

Warmongers can't make netters fight. Warmongers kill stuff. Netters who are dying may choose to kill stuff back, but it's entirely their own choice.

What I think is funny is netgainers sometimes think they can threaten and disrespect warmongers and for some reason shouldn't be held accountable. :)

The truth of the matter is that you can netgain if you can keep your ego under check. Look at Monsters. I've never in my entire time playing this game had the slightest issue with Monsters.

If you're in an alliance that is supposedly a netgaining alliance and they keep getting in wars then your leadership is making poor decisions or can't keep their ego's in check.
