they were actually a pretty decent alliance way back in the day (pre-2000)

Legend and Armageddon merged in January 2001 to form Legacy. IX broke three pacts that reset with Legacy and FS 72 hours after countries were paid as reps. Legacy broke up due to internal pressures.

I'm from the second half of that merger and many other Armageddon players are still around.
