yea happened few days ago too, ee was totally black except texts and links.

yea. was a problem with a broken link between the two servers. don't want to force a broken link now, but i'm pretty sure it should use stale copies in the case of a broken link.

yes. the server did lose network connection for maybe 20-30 mins. img will have worked fine for most people who leave their browser caching settings alone. but i can see how it would impact on others.
