so my router is borked and I was looking for a way to move files from one machine to another. My external HD is at a friend's house, and I didn't want to email myself the files on one machine and download them on another.
I'm moving stuff to a netbook, so I can't burn them to a DVD either. So I find a 16GB sd card and think to myself perfect.
I spent the next 10 minutes trying to figure out why the machine kept telling me the disk was full after I'd formatted it twice and was only trying to move a 3GB file.
Turns out I must need glasses or something. It was a 16MB card that's been sitting in my desk for several years unopened.
