Today was my first day, just a safety meeting but still!

Gonna be working in a Dolomite Quarry, mining and loading Freighters in the Great Lakes!

Not great pay, and no insurance for the 1st year(the cheap bastards!) But it will be nice to have a good steady job for once in a while. I've been working at a cedar Saw Mill for the winter for $8/hr so it's a step in the right direction!

LMFAO, can anyone guess the average age of the worker of Osborne Materials Company is?

really Dragon, lol thats the joke you chose to use? for shame!

I am currently in school and taking classes in geology/Environmental science. Its cool stuff! I am fortunate enough that the army is paying for me to go to school, and giving me a living stipend (however cut back it is). Other wise I'd be up STUFF creak without a paddle. I got a few back up plans, but I wont reveal my secrets yet ;)

That's a bigass sandbox. You could use real dozers and dump trucks and fluff.

dolomite's actually a rock used in a lot of different ways. The "sand" is just a finely ground product they make. The biggest product is made by a 92" crusher.

It's insanity though, the tunnel I work in is 12x6x1000+ with a big ass conveyor belt running through it that carries the rock about 200' up and then dumps it on to the freighter's conveyor belt.
